The News

So hard to believe it only took us a month to get pregnant now the hard part was keeping the secret till Christmas to share the news with our family.
Christmas was the perfect time to surprise our parents that we were expecting. It had been driving me crazy keeping the secret. I was counting down the days. It didn’t bother Bradley a bit, he said he just didn’t think about it…..that is a man for you.

Christmas Eve came and we were going to my parents that night to celebrate. I have bought my mom a digital picture frame for Christmas and put each one of the grandkids pictures on it and then the last picture was a picture of our ultrasound that I had edited and put Merry Christmas, Baby due June 19, 2008. My mom kept looking at it thinking its an ultrasound and then she screams with joy YOU’RE PREGNANT… YOU’RE PREGNANT ….. and I nodded Yes. Everyone was so shocked, but thrilled. They couldn’t believe that we kept it a secret for 3 months. My sister especially, she said she could not believe that we didn’t tell her, we said if we would have told you it would not have been a surprise.( She can’t keep secrets.) Christmas Morning tradition we went to Bradley’s parents for breakfast and presents. I made Bradley’s parents a special Christmas Card on the computer and wrapped it up. At last all the presents had been opened, I nudged Bradley to go get the other gift. Bradley went out to the truck and got it and told his mom and dad we forgot to give them one and handed them the wrapped box, his dad shook it and said I bet I know what it is and I said I bet you don’t, he unwrapped the gift and handed the box to Bradley’s mom. She opened it and started read it, it said It’s Christmas Nana & Pa and we wanted to wish you a special greeting from Bradley, Miss…….open it up and said and plus 1 more with a picture of the ultrasound. Bradley’s mom jumped up and screamed a little and with tears in her eyes hugged us both and his dad seemed thrilled for us also. The rest of the family was in shock.
