I think it's time

Well, its been over 6 months since my last update, a few things that has happened since Feburary

I graduated college with high honors in May and to hear the words from Colt what a sweetheart, he said Mommy I am so proud of you.

Colt has been riding horses and turned 4 in June and got to celebrate with a small get together at Angel Heart Farms (Thanks to Dr. Cottrill for sponsoring Colt and Ms. Tracy who founded this organization (what an awesome non-profit group to help crtically ill children through equine therapy.

He loves Mario and got a special cake from his Aunt Stacia, it tasted just as good as it looked.

Colt loves fishing with his daddy.

Colt won a Blue Ribbon at the Junior Charity Horse Show riding his buddy Rocky

Colt gets to spend some time with Aunt Stacia and Baby Emma, she is finally catching up to him, amazing to think she started out at only 1 pound 10 ounces.

Colt started back to preschool and has been doing really good, we have noticed that he does get more tired frequently and just can't keep up with the other kids so we went for our follow-up with Dr. Cottrill on August 20, and Bradley and I heard the words from Dr. Cottrill we knew were coming, but were dreading to hear. After his normal EKG, BP reading, Pulse Ox, we went into the exam room , she said with a calm voice "he is over 30 pounds and I think it's time for the next surgery we are going to get him schedule for a Heart Cath and then surgery will follow within a month or so" the words just hit like a hard blow in the stomach.

How do Bradley and I prepare Colt for all of this, he knows he has a special heart and we have tried to explain to him that he will be having another surgery to finish fixing his special heart but, this is so different then the first surgery he had at 8 days and the second surgery he had at 8 months.

So tomorrow (Tuesday) September 4th we will taking Colt to the Gill Heart Institute for a Heart Cath.

I ask that you please say a prayer for Colt.

Thanks and God Bless!

Miss
