Batman & Robin

So this post is very long overdue, hard to believe it has been over a year since my last post and  there has been so much that happened since I posted my last update, Colt got to cleared to play sports so he played coach pitch baseball, it was so exciting, and yes I was one of those crazy sports moms. Colt really did great.  He learned to swim over the summer thanks to Papaw and became a water dog.

Health wise Colt has continued to do good. Emotional wise we have struggled, we lost my Mamaw (Colt's great Mamaw) in November it was hard but also a blessing because I know she is with my papaw whom she has missed dearly for the past 9+ years.  Colt really loved her. Then December came with more heartbreak than one could possibly imagine. My Aunt Elizabeth passed away unexpectedly a few day after Christmas leaving behind my Uncle and 3 kids. She is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, she wasn't just an aunt, she was a sister and a friend,  the life here on this earth will never again be the same without her. Colt as well as our whole family has had a hard time accepting her passing. I have tried to remind him and myself that in all circumstances we have to trusting that God has a plan evening during the most difficult and painful times.

And now comes our most recent and happy news that makes the painful and heartbreaking times a little more bearable. Colt Samuel is now a big brother, we are so happy and so excited to announce the birth of Bo Gunner Hardy he was due on Uncle Shane's Birthday  September 29th, but decided to come early

Born Monday September 19th 2016 @ 5:13m weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz. 21 inches long. Everyone that knows about him has been wanting pictures but I didn't want them posted on Facebook for privacy reasons so this was the best  solution to share his cuteness.
