2 years plus with my 2 favorite people

Well, there is so much to say, I wish I was better at keeping up with this, my goal was to try to post as least every other month. I am just in awl most of the time at how smart Colt is getting, somewhat a little too smart for his own good. He is full of energy and other than a broken arms 4 days before his b-day 6/17/10, he decided to be like Eval Nevil he says and jump out of the crib,

other than that everything with Colt has been going smoothly, we went in debt and got a 5th and actually got to go on our first family and the first vacation that Bradley and I have been on together, we took Colt to Jellystone Yogi Bear Park in Cave City, KY near Mammoth Cave, it was great, poor Colt would have had more fun if he hadn't broke his arms, they had a pool and water slide, maybe next year he will get to enjoy that part of it.

The camper was like a big play house to him.

It is amazing how you can get to know people whether is be a great grandmother or a great grat great aunt or just a friend and they touch your life and touch the life of your children and you never forget their kindness, makes us all want to be better.

On a crazy note: On to potty training, boy this is going to be fun.......let's hope I survive.

American Heart Walk 2010 & Special Prayer Request

Well even though it was really cold, the Heart Walk was great. Colt’s Heart Team raised over $1,000.00 for the American Heart Association and everyone looked great in their T-shirts.
Colt was entertaining he danced to the music that was playing before the walk began it was adorable, he loves to dance and run.

The best part was at the beginning of the walk Colt's Pa (Bradley's dad) who is also a heart disease survivor carried Colt to start the walk. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Let’s pray for much warmer weather next year.

Thanks again to all who participated and donated. We really appreciate your support and loved walking for such a worthy cause.

I also ask for you to pray for special little boy named Bowen and his mom Sarah, Dad Matt and his 2 sisters. For those of you who listen to Christian Rock, Bowen is the unborn son of the lead singer Matt from Santus Real, (what an awesome group), Bowen is due to be born next month and has already been diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart syndrome, this little boy and his family are in for a fight, but with prayer and the grace of God. I have faith little Bowen will prove his name to be true "small victorious one"

You can keep up with Bowen's story with the link below.

Almost 20 months

I know it’s been so long since I wrote an update. Colt is almost 20 months now.

Time really goes by so fast and I try to make each day count, Colt had a great Christmas and on to a new year hopefully we will be potty trained in the next 6 months. Colt is absolutely wonderful and so smart he can count to 10 with a little help in between, say some of his ABC’s, and the all words he can say amazes me I lost count at a hundred. The child has more energy and spunk than anyone or anything I have ever seen, and climbing on everything he can.

Wow its crazy how this little boy has adapted to 68 – 70% percent oxygen compared to me @ 98 – 100%

If he had any more energy Bradley and I will need to keep Red bull and energy pills on hand constantly. Every second is so worth it.

We go back to his cardiologist Dr. Cottrill in April so hopefully everything will continue to check out. I will try to post an update before then and give some information on the details of the Heart Walk.

I am humble to the lord, for he has blessed me with this boy.
