Big as a sack of taters!

Up to 10 pounds. Colt got his shots on the 19th, so tough he cried only for a minute and I picked him up and told him he was okay and he was fine. Bradley and my 9 year anniversary was last Thursday the 21 st and Colt also had a chest xray and a cardiologist appointment that same day, I was hoping for good news that he didn't have to go in next month for his 2ND surgery. Good news is what we got.

His Cardiologist, Dr. Cottrill (did I mention we absolutely love her) anyways I could go on and on about how wonderful she is, but she was really pleased with his chest x-ray. We do not have to go back till October 20th at that appointment Colt will be scheduled the following month for a Cardiac Catheterization which is a procedure used to examine blood flow to the heart and test how well the heart is pumping. A doctor will inserts a thin plastic tube into an artery or vein in his leg. From there it can be advanced into the chambers of the heart or into the coronary arteries. This test can measure blood pressure within the heart and how much oxygen is in the blood. It's also used to get information about the pumping ability of the heart muscle.

Once they review the results of this test, surgery will be scheduled within the next few weeks.

So his 2ND surgery will probably be around the end of November/ beginning of December.

We still continue to thank god every day four our little boy and give praise at the miracle we have been blessed to hold and love.
